Excellent eating apple BUT the tree has a unique appearance!  Let's just say it wont win any beauty contests!  Still one of our favorite trees!

One of the easiest apples to grow. The tree is vigorous and spreading and easily trained. One of the earliest apples to bloom in the spring. Liberty is very similar to appearance to McIntosh, but its flavor is more tart and its flesh is crisper. It is a good dependable choice for any backyard orchard because it is highly productive and resistant to all the major apple diseases.
